In 2012, Astra dairy introduced farm fresh cow’s milk and started delivering directly to homes. Its custom designed, patented glass bottles retain cow’s milk in its purest form. At Astra dairy, cow’s milk is 100% farm fresh, pure, untouched and inconsistent. It embraces inconsistency for it reflects nature quintessentially. Initially, Holstein and jersey cows were raised and by 2015 the focus entirely shifted to Kankrej cows, an Indian breed. Astra dairy reflects on the founder’s belief systems that, we rise by lifting others and so the farmers are encouraged to get associated with the farm and benefit.
